Carol Link, MSPT

River RockMy Mission Statement: To provide the highest quality physical therapy service in a caring and respectful environment, at a reasonable cost.

Philosophy:
At Health Link PT I take the whole person into account, as well as the injured or hurting parts of your body. Using gentle hands-on techniques and education about how to train your body, I hope to help my clients live fuller, healthier lives with fewer day-to-day musculoskeletal problems. I look for the cause of your movement problem and offer ways to correct it so you can return to optimal function in whatever you do.

Three things you will receive at Health Link Physical Therapy:

  1. A thorough evaluation to determine the root causes of your symptoms and treatment accordingly.
  2. You will learn why you have symptoms and what you can do about them, what you can do to prevent them in the future.
  3. A return to your active lifestyle as quickly as possible.

Experience the difference in care at Health Link Physical Therapy. After a detailed interview and physical examination, you will receive individual one on one treatment with a program designed just for you. No long waiting time, just good care from a consistent PT using a holistic approach in a comfortable, private office. I use traditional tests and measures to determine the root causes of your condition and then combines a variety of techniques to help you get better faster.

While there are times when you may need physical care, there are many things you can do for yourself. This may include prescribed corrective exercises, activity modification, modalities like ice, heat, ultrasound and electrical stimulation, and ways to reduce stress in your life. I communicate with other members of your health care team at your request and use community resources to help you get back to your active lifestyle as quickly as possible. Whether it is yoga or spinning class, massage therapy, acupuncture, or other complementary health service, I am happy to help you find your recipe for healing and long term wellness.

Business Practice Information:
In the state of Montana, you may see a PT without a doctor's referral, but be sure to check your health insurance plan to see if physical therapist services are covered without a referral from your healthcare practitioner. Insurance companies accept referrals from doctors, nurse practitioners, sometimes naturpathic doctors and chiropractors. Even if you are not referred by your doctor, I do not operate in a vacuum, and will communicate with your healthcare practitioner as you request.

I have elected to provide physical therapy on a "fee for service" basis. I accept cash or check at the time of service. By removing myself from a preferred provider/contracted status with the insurance companies, I do not have to limit the time or quality of treatment I provide because of insurance company restrictions or elevate my rates to pay for billing services. I will fill out a courtesy claim for you so you may be reimbursed by insurance company if you choose to do so. Health Link may be out-of-network for your particular insurance coverage so you may want to check with your insurance company.
